Dr. Susan Davis-Ali is the Founder and President of Leadhership1®, LLC, the premier coaching company specializing in the retention and advancement of mid-career, women technologists. Leadhership1® has helped approximately 2,000 mid-career women technologists world-wide for companies such as Thomson Reuters, Capital One, Turner, and Qualcomm.
Susan holds a PhD in Social Psychology from the University of Michigan. Prior to starting Leadhership1® in 2009, she spent a decade as a recognized leader in the testing and assessment industry. She is considered an expert in the retention and advancement of mid-career women technologists and is the author of “Advancing Women Technologists into Positions of Leadership”.
Susan is the author of the book, “How to Become Successful Without Becoming a Man” and she enjoyed writing a weekly career advice column for USA TODAY for a couple of years.
She held the position of Vice President of Organizational Transformation at AnitaB.org from 2015-2017, and continued to serve as their Chief Social Science Advisor on the Top Companies for Women Technologists Program through 2019.
Dr. Davis-Ali was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and currently lives in St. Paul, Minnesota with her husband and their two children.
We recognize that each woman brings her own professional goals and unique life circumstances to the program. Leadership1® is not a one-size-fits-all approach to leadership development. We welcome individual differences and Leadhership1® was developed with that in mind.
